Palm Beach County is home to the Burt Reynolds and Friends Museum, the largest celebrity museum in Florida. Burt Reynolds lifetime collection of awards and personal gifts from his friends is on display at the Museum in Jupiter, Florida. The Museum is the new recipient of $15,000 worth of editing equipment through the FTC’s education contract with the Office of Economic development to provide on-going training workshops. In addition, the Museum has collected over 100 hours of educational footage to be edited into instrumental teaching programs. The Museum is an important part of Palm Beach County’s Culture and will remain as one of the FTC’s highest initiatives to support and see flourish. |

The BDB is a private, not-for-profit corporation that works to attract and retain business investment through corporate relocations, expansions and international trade; and provide marketing support and business networking services through a paid membership organization. The FTC and the BDB work together to recruit and identify the needs of film, television and broadcast businesses considering relocating or setting up shop in PBC. Areas of consideration include land, facilities and training. |

AD FED is a group of various advertising industry professionals in Palm Beach County. The FTC partners with AD FED to host an annual “Reel Event” reception. The overall goal of Palm Beach County’s Reel Event is to encourage cross utilization of resources, information and job sharing between both the production and advertising industries thereby strengthening Palm Beach County’s economy by keeping production business “at home”. |

The CVB is charged with the promotion and marketing of the tourism industry in the State of Florida, the United States and international markets. The FTC partners with the CVB to create and distribute marketing collateral that promotes Palm Beach County as both a filming and tourist destination. |

Palm Beach County Convention Center is a state-of-the-art facility featuring a 100,000-square-foot exhibit hall, a 25,000-square-foot ballroom, 23,000 square feet of flexible breakout space divisible into 23 rooms, expert service teams and an award-winning culinary department. The FTC promotes the Convention Center as a unique filming opportunity and a location for industry trade events. |

The Cultural Council is a multi-faceted cultural organization with top priorities that include marketing the county for cultural tourism, advocating for cultural funding, supporting arts education and providing grants to cultural organizations and artists. The FTC partners with the Cultural Council on collaborative marketing efforts and promotes Palm Beach County’s cultural venues as filming locations. |

EDO’s mission is to implement, manage and monitor the Economic Development Program of the Board of County Commissioners. The relationship with the EDO has given the FTC the opportunity to encourage companies to relocate to the county, expand upon existing facilities and work with the School Board to build a talented workforce through the development of film and television programs in local high schools and programs. |

ERM establishes, maintains, and implements programs for the protection, preservation, and enhancement of the land and water resources of Palm Beach County. The FTC works closely with ERM to facilitate permit requirements for filming on our beaches during turtle nesting season and year round, protecting our natural environment. |

The FTC has a contract with Palm Beach County Government to generate a positive impact on business tourism and the economy in Palm Beach County through the growth of the film, television and still photography industry by attracting on location production, educating our local workforce and providing superior services to both the visiting and the indigenous production community. |

The Palm Beach County Film & Television Institute is a charitable 501(c)(3) corporation, established in 2005 as an educational organization. The purpose of the Institute is to sponsor and produce film, television and related media programs with educational themes and content. In addition, the Institute further promotes education by providing continuing film and television industry education for students. The Institute is taking on a new challenge in the upcoming year by seeking financing and executing the Career Builders Development Fund. The Career Builders Development Fund is being formed as a joint-venture between the Institute and JGM Enterprises, Inc. |

The Palm Beach County Sports Commission is a private, not-for-profit organization contracted by Palm Beach County to promote and market the County as a sports and sports tourism destination. The Commission brings sport ing events and activities to the County, enhances economic impact, stimulates bed tax revenues (with a focus on the off-season), and maximizes utilization of County facilities. |
